Steep sections make home storage hard work
Green Bay climbs up from the Manukau Harbour, and plenty of sections arrive with a driveway that is really a ramp. Hitching a trailer on a slope, or turning a boat around on one, is the part of ownership most owners would rather skip.
The yard is flat. You drive in, back the trailer on, and drive out without the gradient working against you.
Harbour access without harbour prices
Living close to the water is why a lot of Green Bay households own a boat in the first place. Storing it here keeps that boat near the harbour without a marina berth and the monthly cost that comes with one.
Note that the yard slipway is currently under repair and haul-out remains a work in progress, so call before you plan a launch or haul-out around it.
